Terms of Service

The short version

You pay a flat monthly fee; I design, build, host, and maintain your website. Six-month minimum, then month-to-month. You always own your domain and your content. Each client also signs a service agreement — if these terms and your signed agreement ever differ, the signed agreement wins.

The service

Queens Gate Studio provides website design, hosting, and maintenance on a subscription basis, plus optional add-ons like social media management. What's included depends on your plan (Starter, Standard, or Premium) as described on the pricing page and your service agreement. Plans include a monthly allowance of content edits; larger changes (new pages, redesigns, new features) are quoted separately as upgrades or one-off work.

Billing & term

• A one-time setup fee is due at signing; the monthly fee bills automatically (via Stripe) starting the same day.
• Plans have a 6-month minimum term, then continue month-to-month.
• Cancel any time after the minimum term with 30 days' written notice (email is fine).
• If a payment fails and isn't resolved after reasonable notice, service (including the website) may be suspended until the account is current.

Who owns what

• You own your domain name, your business content, your logo, and your photos — always, no matter what.
• I own the website code, design system, and templates, which I operate for you as part of the subscription. That's what keeps the monthly price low.
• Want to own the site outright? A fixed buyout price is available — ask any time, including at cancellation.

If you cancel

Clean offboarding, guaranteed: I transfer your domain to you, export your content, and offer the site buyout. The hosted website itself comes down at the end of the final billing period unless you buy it out. Your business is never held hostage.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information and content you have the right to use (photos, logos, license numbers, claims like "licensed & insured" must be true and yours).
• Review and approve content before launch.
• Keep your contact and billing information current.

What I promise — and don't

I promise professional work, honest communication, and fast turnaround (7-day standard launch, edit turnaround per your plan). I don't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic numbers, or lead volume — no honest provider can. I promise the activity; results depend on your market.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Queens Gate Studio's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
